Well, when you’re wrong, you’re wrong.  And nothing’s more wrong than a horrible pun, hence the title.  Jo-Jo Reyes pitched pretty well for the most part.  His undoing came in the sixth inning.  A crazy bounce in the outfield, a kicked ball on the infield, and an absolute bomb by Craig Monroe turned a good start into a not so impressive one.  Monroe and Ian Snell were the stories of the day.  Monroe had not one but two three-run homers going to a nearly identical spot in centerfield.  Monroe had 8 homeruns in spring training which earned him a platoon spot in rightfield with Brandon Moss.  Monroe took advantage of the opportunity today.

Ian Snell pitched 7 strong innings much to my dismay.  I had thought that facing Snell might get the Braves out of their funk. Instead, Snell hit the Braves at the right time having very little trouble all day long.  The Braves have Javier Vazquez going tomorrow, but unless Vazquez can also hit 5 homeruns, all eyes will be on the offense.  I’ll have a full preview tomorrow morning.
